Its that time of year again, when we think summer should be over but we know its not. When sweaters and long sleeves are in the stores, but when shorts, tanks, and flip-flops are still the uniform of the day. It’s September, and Joe thinks the dog days should be celebrated as hot dog days. If this is your first dog days at Joe’s Farm Grill, you’re in for a treat! We’ve brought back most of the favorites from past years, retired a couple (like the Swedish Dog with garlic mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam), and added some new creations. Come by anytime and several times this month to try them all.

Joe’s Farm Grill features all- beef, natural casing hot dogs made locally by Schreiner’s Fine Sausages, unless otherwise noted. Each is served in a grilled split-top bun, and comes with fries or your choice of side. Make it a Double Dog, Mix and Match!

This season’s Line-up:

Hawaiian Dog…wrapped in ham and topped with melted Monterey jack cheese, bacon and pineapple Serrano sauce

Carolina Dog…topped with pulled pork, coleslaw, and Joe’s Real BBQ sauce

3B Dog…apple wood- smoked bacon, blue cheese, and BBQ sauce

Frito Chili Pie Dog (New!)…Fritos, homemade chili, Cheez Whiz, sour cream, and chopped sweet onions. (It’s a knife and fork dog, to be sure.)

Rueben Dog…topped with sauerkraut, melted swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and JFG pickles

Turkey Jalapeno Dog (New!)… Schreiner’s Southwest Turkey Sausage grilled and doused with Gunslinger Jalapeno sauce and homemade sweet-hot pepper relish. This dog rates “wow” on flavor and is the owner’s favorite.

Sonoran Dog…bacon-wrapped, deep fried, and topped with melted jack cheese, homemade Farm beans, sour cream and jalapenos. This dog made the leap to our every day menu after last year’s Dog Days, where it has become a customer favorite.

Cordon Bleu Dog…wrapped in ham, topped with melted swiss, Dijon aioli, pickles, and a fried (over medium) egg
White Hot Dog (New!)…This mild, pork and veal dog is made especially for us by The German Sausage Company in Phoenix. We grill it and serve it simply with stone-ground mustard, chopped sweet onions and pickles (be sure to ask for sauerkraut if you like). This is GM Anthony’s favorite because it brings back delicious upstate New York memories.

Full Pounder Dog (New!)…Two grilled, split dogs – homemade chili, sauerkraut, jack cheese, grilled onions, sweet-hot pepper relish, pickles and Dijon aioli on a buttered, grilled sub roll. No substitutions, please. It’s a perfectly delicious mess, just as is!

Also for the month of September: Chili-Cheese Fries are back!!
